The Love of the Most Holy Trinity

05-31-2026Pastor's LetterFather Wilson

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Today, it does us good to hear John's Gospel reminding us again that “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) This Sunday, in the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, God is worshipped, loved and served, because God is love. God’s love deeply affects our personal relations, making them purer and helping us to grow in holiness.

How were they supposed to understand this paradox?

The Corporal Works of Mercy

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The Corporal Works of Mercy are concrete actions by which the faithful of the church come to the aid of a person’s bodily or material needs. The Church calls them “corporal” because they assist people with their material necessities, and they are ways of meeting Christ present in those in need.
