We’d like to invite you to a very special family program that St. Mary Help of Christians is proud to be hosting. The program is called Changes & Challenges and it’s for parents with your 6th grade son or daughter.
Changes & Challenges provides a Catholic framework on the truth and meaning of sexuality, love, and family. Their family-centered programs are relaxed and fun, plus they are presented by men and women who love families and who respect the dignity of everyone present.
Session 1 is for parents only and includes information about chastity, child development, and creating a plan for your emerging teen. No child comes to this session.
Session 2 is for you and your 6th (or mature 5th) grader to attend together. For Session 2, your son or daughter comes with you and the groups are separated, with moms and daughters in one room and dads and sons in another. Topics covered in Session 2 include: fertility appreciation, developing as a ‘whole person,’ and fetal development.
The program will be held on Tue, Sep 17 and Tue, Sep 24 from 7:00-9:00pm at Mary’s School.
Deadline for registering is Tue, Sep 3.
