Dear Friends in Christ,

As I have mentioned, a Search Committee for a new principal has been formed and has met several times. FYI, the members of the Search Committee are as follows: Matt Kuhn, Chair; Vicky Tucker; Anna Allman; Cortney Neel; Jim Hidlay; Dennis Gmerek; John Theobald; Agnes Hobson and Mary Catherine Lawton. They will be working and praying diligently to find the very best person to be our next principal.

Our Search Committee has decided to hire a professional firm to identify the very best candidates to serve as our new principal. They have chosen to hire Partners in Mission to conduct the search for our new principal. Partners in Mission is a team of dedicated professionals firmly rooted in the ministry of Catholic education that is committed to advancing Catholic education. Partners in Mission provides consulting services to more than 500 schools, dioceses, and religious organizations throughout the U.S. They specialize in school leadership search solutions and their client list includes over 60 dioceses across the country. Also, we are pleased that a generous parishioner has agreed to fund this search.

On Wednesday, April 19^th, Partners in Mission spent a day at our parish and school as part of their due diligence to understand our needs. Michael Furey and Scott Brogan are the two Partners assigned to work with us. I met with them at the top of the day and then they had a full day of meetings and discussions. Over the course of the day, Mike and Scott had a tour of the parish and campus and then met with the Search Committee, the school faculty and staff (two sessions), a focus group of students, representatives from Fiat Homeschool Co-Op, the Parish Council and two sessions with a focus group of parents.

Also, we recently conducted a detailed survey of the parish and school to learn what virtues and qualifications that parents, teachers, and parishioners would like to see in the new principal. Results of that survey will be provided to the Search Committee and Partners in Mission to aid in the search for a new principal.

Please continue to pray that the Holy Spirit will bless and guide the work of all involved in the search for our new principal.
