ACTS Men's Retreat

Dec 6 Around the Diocese

What are ACTS Missions Retreats? An ACTS Retreat is a parish-based event which offers participants an opportunity to experience the love of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, fosters a desire for intentional discipleship. Our Lady of the Lake in Chapin (North of Columbia, SC) is hosting the first-ever ACTS Men’s Retreat in the State of South Carolina from Dec 6-9 at Camp Kinard.

ACTS Retreats are open to anyone 18 years or older regardless of religious affiliation. However, the retreats are Catholic based and focus on the 4 pillars of adoration, community, theology and service. The ACTS Retreat takes place at a nearby retreat center and begins on a Thursday evening and ends with Sunday Mass in the parish. While utilizing prayer, service, and teaching, the ACTS Retreat meets people where they are in their spiritual journey and invites them to experience God in a manner that is both personal and communal.
